The NetLume innovation platform solves the key problem of the “human factor” for successful IoT initiatives by integrating domain experts and business into the IoT domain. Semantic Digital Twins fuse human readability with machine interpretability. In combination with the NetLume ECA design process for rapid prototyping the platform allows the development of operative MVPs already at the PoC stage. The key diﬀerence between NetLume and other IoT platforms is a distinct focus on the problem and analytics domain instead of data management and computational services. NetLume is therefore able to augment IoT platforms and your existing infrastructure, to enable rapid ECA prototyping of intelligent systems based on the asset and data management or even analytic processing structures of other underlying IoT platforms. The so far unique focus of NetLume is to systematically enter a new realm we call Internet of Analytics in which AI systems solve use-case speciﬁc problems from analytic models, methods and machine learning algorithms.

A joint venture between idatase GmbH of Frankfurt and NetXcel Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, phiot stands for physical internet through internet of things.

Logistics has always played a vital role in global economy. Optimizing logistics processes is therefore a focused research topic concerning many institutions, corporations and countries around the world. One well-known project targeting a solution to this question is called “Physical Internet” which attempts to “transform the way physical objects are handled, moved, stored, realized, supplied and used, aiming towards global logistics efficiency and sustainability” . Its vision is to standardize the “encapsulation work, interfaces and protocols” so that “the concept of internet data transfer could be applied to real-world shipping processes”. However, it requires a huge amount of time as well as research to reach that level of standardization. We at Phiot propose another approach that could still leverage the current shipping infrastructure without changing it much in the beginning. This approach will not only optimize current logistics processes but will also be easily adaptable as soon as a higher level of standardization becomes ready.

Technology pre-check regarding the worldwide adaptability of a  telematics system of Volkswagen AG. Countries traveled to: Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

My responsibilities include: Development of automated processes for the statistical analysis of measured data using Python, Java and Splunk / Preparation and coordination of trips worldwide as well as communication with local importers on site and conducting of the actual measurements in a team of two and the adaptation of bash scripts to altered testing processes.
