Brlog.si

Brlog.si is a hobby project of mine and a few of my close friends. We decided we needed a place to express our opinions and engage like-minded individuals in Slovenia. That is how Brlog was born.

The website features a blog with six regular contributors and a podcast called "Brlog" where I act as the main host. The content varies from politics to gaming to economics and focuses deeply on ideas of free expression, free speech and debate.

Unsanctioned Media is a brand focused on Media Production for the Tactical and LEO/Military market, as well as specializing in commercial, television and film work, offering subject matter consultation with a team with practical and theoretical experience.

Polenar Tactical

We founded Polenar Tactical's YouTube channel in 2011 and later established it as an LLC in 2015. 

At my leaving in January of 2016, our achievements were as follows:

• What started out as a side project was now an official company
• Our YouTube channel had grown to almost 160.000 subscribers
• We were one of the first to join an exclusive network for firearm related channels, Full30
• We made a push into the gaming entertainment with Polenar Gaming,
• We had successfully funded our IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign at 284% of it's original goal
• More than 30.000$ in crowdfunding capital was raised across all our crowdfunding efforts
• Our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, had a combined count of over 260.000 followers.

My roles as co-founder in Polenar Tactical were:

• Day to day operations regarding all aspects of the company
• Heavy involvement in all parts of our video production process
• Main cinematographer and post producer.
• Company Visual Identity creator - created video content, graphics, logo andcorporate identity.
• Project planning, campaign management and coordination of our rowdfunding efforts
• One of the Community Managers of our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)

Co-Founder

Direction in the broadest sense: deciding on the visual style of videos, picking and researching locations, writing, reviewing and editing scripts, directing actors and talent in videos, editing those videos and making important decisions regarding filming in all important areas.

I played Mark, a silly character on "Razred zase", Slovenian National TV Station's show.

• Memorizing written material
• Developing the character with the writers of the show
• Staying calm and delivering lines under the pressure of tight production schedules
• Developing relationships with the show's big production team

Actor

PRO PLUS, d.o.o.

I was responsible for covering the stories that were unfolding behind the scenes and interviewing the contestants and their families in one of the biggest shows in Slovenia, "Slovenia's Got Talent".

Internet Show Host

I've been working as a commercial video director in the outdoor and defense space for more than 10 years.
Starting as one of the founders of Polenar Tactical I've moved on to the commercial and corporate media production space as a freelance director and producer, founding my own production company Unsanctioned Media with which I later worked for the biggest brands in the Slovenian defense and outdoor industry. My latest venture is Third Option, a boutique branding agency.
