In addition to my tasks as a Marketing Manager, I have taken on more Project Management tasks where I've been responsible for organizing events from start to finish and writing project proposals. During this time, I have organized onsite events in Estonia, Moldova and Denmark over a variety of topics including Digital Construction, Youth Empowerment, Data, Defence and e-Participation.

Marketing & Project Manager

As the Marketing Manager, I was responsible for the communications and marketing of Garage48's largest hackathons locally, internationally and cross-continentally. The hackathon topics and demographics have been diverse, including but not limited to urban space, marine data, culture, and sustainability.

Marketing Manager

Digit Conference

The first edition of Digit Conference brought together 700 members of the tech community, making it the biggest software conf in Estonia right off the bat. As Marketing Manager, I was in charge of social media, paid ads, marketing cooperation with all of the partners, communication with participants and managing a team of awesome volunteers.

European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024

In collaboration with the Tartu 2024 team and design agency NOPE, we updated the brand for Tartu 2024 to make it more uniform across all marketing and communications channels. During the process, we defined the core values of Tartu 2024, which were the base for the updated font, colours and new distinguishable design elements.

Project Manager

Tartu together with Southern Estonia is the European Capital of Culture in 2024. I joined the team to support the management of Tartu 2024's digital channels and brand identity. During my time as a Digital Channels & Brand Specialist, I created guidelines for social media and kickstarted the process of updating the brand.

Digital Channels & Brand Specialist

The 2021 edition of sTARTUp Day was a particularly challenging one as we wanted to make the fifth edition of the business festival extra special despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For the edition, we updated the brand's visual identity, organized a record number of side-events around Tartu, launched a merch shop and started our own podcast in collaboration with FoundMe. 

The event took place in a hybrid format bringing together 3100 participants from 67 countries, 163 speakers, 330 startups, 160 investors, and 50 media representatives.

In addition to the flagship sTARTUp Day festival, I was also responsible for the marketing of five events in the sTARTUp Talks series: sTARTUp Sales & Marketing, UX Tartu, sTARTUp Self-Development and Female Founders Meetup.

I joined the sTARTUp Day team as for the 2020 edition as a Marketing Assistant where my main tasks included social media management, writing newsletters, copywriting and keeping the website up-to-date. 

sTARTUp Day 2020 brought together 4400 participants, 150 speakers, 350 startups and 180 investors. We saw 2500 matchmaking meetings, 45 seminars, 21 side-events and a whopping 191 press mentions!

The Global Hack

The Global Hack brought together 15,000 participants from all over the world to build solutions for the novel COVID-19 pandemic. As a new event concept and one of the first global virtual hackathons in the world, the Global Hack marketing team has a 24/7 job to build and manage all marketing channels from scratch.

I'm driven by seeing people's eyes sparkle at events, supporting the startup ecosystem and designing opportunities for organizations to grow. As Head Organizer of sTARTUp Day 2025, I'm so excited to have the opportunity to bring all of this together and celebrate entrepreneurship with 4000 startup-minded participants in the heart of the sTARTUp City. 

Alongside Project Management, I'm also an award-winning marketer. Mostly working with events and early-stage startups, I've been lucky to help diverse organizations with branding, copywriting and strategies to meet KPIs. In 2023, I won the Taeva Pesamuna Award, given out to the best young marketers of the year in Estonia.
