Why on earth? 

It’s the same brain 🧠 
same quality 
same audience 
same time 
same style
same structure 
same formula 

I’ve ran every single calculation:) i haven’t found any measurable problem 

Until I, read the content of that viral post myself, like am reading it for the first time 

You know what was different?

It provoked ‘thinking’ which created ‘opinions’ which resulted in ‘engagement’

And trust me when I say, thoughtfulness is way more valuable and crucial than all other measurements on LinkedIn

Ego is not the only relationship killer for me

Self loathing is also as bad as ego

I can’t handle a person who either thinks too highly of themselves or too low of themselves 

You can not learn anything from the first type, cuz they’re a bubble

And you can’t teach anything to the second type because they have zero faith in their potential 

Who’s left then? 

People who’re busy making progress in all areas of life 

People who have self respect and confidence, but also notable levels of humbleness:) 

Any thoughts?

I started a company selling exactly what I've been avoiding for so long

(putting out content)

I hated putting out my thoughts and opinions online

I just felt 'unprepared'

Who am I to start lecturing others in sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship?

But something happened that changed my entire perception

I organized a workshop in Qatar and invited 30-40 CEOs to it. I was so nervous, as this was the first time I wouldn't be training my employees; I would be talking to an audience

Twenty-four attendees came

The workshop started, and it was about how to streamline your B2B selling in the GCC

The number of questions I received was amazing, and the number of answers I was able to articulate was also amazing

This was a big personal pivot. I started seeing the value I could provide to those who 'need' it

The experience and knowledge others crave

Does this mean I am not learning myself? Absolutely not :)

I always say and remind myself: I am 99% away from what I want to achieve

But this does not mean I can't provide a helping hand to those who are fresh on the growth path

This is the beginning of my content journey on LinkedIn

Today, after four months, I just hit 5,000 followers, received 2 Top Voice badges, hundreds of connection requests, and tens of valuable DMs and relationships

Sometimes, things change our perceptions, and this changes an entire course of life

Guess what comes before growth? 

Chaos 

Chaotic life chapters are the intros to growth and fulfillment 

I believe in this ONE hundred percent 

Don’t tell me hard times don’t build strong brains 

Don’t tell me sad moments don’t inject happiness in the small details where a flower could draw a smile on your face 

2023 was the toughest year in my life, 2024 is not easy at all, but am approaching it differently 

Am not motivating, am simply reflecting on the 26 years I spent on planet earth  

(Now you know my age hahha)

“Why do we need to pay for a couple of posts?” 

I would appreciate a question like that coming in 2012, not in 2024:) 

You might be landing clients today, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next 4 years

But do you really think there’s no one out there competing? 

If you don’t GROW a sustainable brand (through powerful content) You’ll be outraced in the near or far future  

This is why we exist

letting your feelings cloud your judgment

My message to those who struggle with feedback: 

take it as it is, without reading into the emotions behind it

Why does it matter?

because in a professional setting, efficiency and growth come from clarity, not emotional turmoil

feedback is meant to help you improve, not to hurt your feelings

people now need to appreciate straightforward feedback for what it is – a tool for growth, not a personal attack

Give the best startup idea to the best founder and they still may fail 

It’s not just about the potential of the ‘idea’ of your startup/ agency

It’s also about how it fits your personality and leadership style 

🥱 Shortest post ever but it delivered the concept:)

“Stop saying selling is easy, am trying my best, and am seeing no results”

And then I ask: what do you do? 

And then the long never ending answer starts

I ask again: what’s your elevator pitch (which is what they should’ve said responding to my first question)

And then they ask: what is an elevator pitch

Am then left silent, cuz now I know why on earth selling is not your game

I spent hours and days coming up with my elevator pitch:) 

Without it, life becomes harder, selling becomes harder 

What are the components of the elevator pitch?

1- Who you are
2- Value you provide 
3- How

Example:

1- Who: Flourish Digitals is GCC’s number 1 LinkedIn content agency 

2- Value: that helps personal and corporate brands grow on LinkedIn

3- How: through targeted content & strategic community management 

Your elevator pitch should be memorized like your name, or else good luck with your sales

This post is inspired by a comment I’ve seen 1,000,000 times on LinkedIn, which is:

“Consistency is key”

To be honest, my friend, screw consistency :) It is NOT key :) 

If you’re consistently the perfect barista, showing up on time every day (which I once was six years ago in Canada 🇨🇦), tell me, how does this help you in the long run

The day I ran into SecondCup Canada, I met a manager who had been making lattes for the last 30 years

I was shocked

I was left silent

Why 30 years

Haven’t you considered a better position A brighter future

Do I think low of him now

Absolutely not (it’s how he enjoys his time)

Did I think low of him that day

Maybe

Can I one day become him

Absolutely not

I do not enjoy my time if it lacks growth

And when ‘consistency’ is achieved mindlessly, you kill any potential for growth because ‘consistency’ satisfies you

Apply that to your content and really ask yourself

How long have I been consistent

I am growing a brand so slowly and seeing no tangible results

What if ‘consistency’ is the problem

What if ‘growth and improvement’ is what I am missing by focusing too much on being a good barista

Two years after I walked into that coffee shop, I was assigned as a manager handling hiring, firing, inventory, salaries, maintenance, etc

How

I did not seek consistency

I craved growth

A good way to look at where you are in terms of life/success transformation 

And you don’t have to be at a certain level in all areas of life

Could be at level: peace or enlightenment with social relationships but at level shame & guilt financially 

Of course being at x level in something impacts your whole life

It could beingn everything up, or break everything into pieces 

Thoughts?

Substitute ‘followers’ with ‘community’ for the love of God

The single difference between a “community” and a group of “followers” is the two-way communication dynamic

Remove that dynamic, and you’ll become irrelevant to your community over time, and they’ll turn into followers

Not so many people understand this. I am still on a mission to turn my groups—both digital and physical—into communities

The last thing you want to become is an irrelevant big talker who appears to be strong and leading, but internally is living in an ever-growing bubble

It’s funny how relevant this is to all areas of life

Let your spouse just ‘follow’ your lead, and see how irrelevant you’ll be to her over time

Fathers who are one-way communicators create followers; they don’t create a flourishing community within their homes

And you really want to ask yourself: do I entertain followers or communities?
