I teach parents and caregivers how to nurture their children’s early brain development through the introduction of musical concepts in ways that are accessible and enjoyable – even if they’ve never had a music lesson in their life! In my book, Music for the Developing Brain: A Simple, At-Home Program, I provide 5-minute, daily activities that you can enjoy with your 0 to 5-year-old child for up to 5 years. These lessons are short, fun, easy to build into your routine, and require minimal investment (you’ll need only a pencil, marker, index cards, internet access to watch my supporting videos, and a small keyboard.) Over the course of the activities you and your child will learn things like rhythm, pitch, tempo, keyboard hand placement, and more.
