New capacity is coming to the South! GBP, a third generation, family owned company is building a state-of-the-art box plant in Fort Worth to continue to service our customers, especially in the food and beverage industry. My role includes building long-term relationships with customers, creating efficient designs and solving packaging problems to help get products out the door at the national and local level.

Peaster ISD

-Committee member for development of Campus Improvement Plan, collaborating with administrators to create existing goals for our school 
-Member of hiring committee, evaluating talent and interviewing applicants for principal position
-Worked closely with our PTO (parent teacher organization) to fund-raise and provide extra enrichment activities for students 
-ESL (English as a Second Language) Certified fostering communication with Spanish speaking population
-Taught English to Spanish speaking adults/parents
-Member of textbook adoption committee, presenting to staff the innovative learning tools offered

Educator

Miss Jane’s Swim School

-Founded Miss Jane’s Swim School to educate children and their parents on water safety as well as teaching self awareness around water 
-Rapid yearly customer growth through marketing and advertising 
-Supervised client relations and concerns
-Maintained monthly financial books and sent out monthly invoices

Founder and President

Racine Unified School District-Gifford Elementary School						    October

-Collaborated with staff of educators in one of the largest elementary schools in the state on best practice teaching techniques   
-Coordinated computer training for colleagues with innovative programs intended to increase reading and math scores  
-Created and implemented curriculum for summer school computer classes 
-Presented educational research to staff on conflict resolution and impact on bullying statistics for the district

Educator/Peer Mediation Coordinator

North Park Elementary School

-Lead teacher for a team teaching classroom 
-Mentor for student teachers from the local college which included evaluating abilities, maintaining records and reporting to professors 
-Continued Peer Mediation Program which was implemented after students and adults were trained during the previous summer months

Dr. Jones Elementary School

-Responsible for mediation program budget, by managing grants and providing accurate records to office
-Educated fifth grade students for eight years, where a successful Peer Mediation Program was created for adults and children 
-Students and staff were selected and trained during summer school for conflict resolution teams where I held a supervisory role as Mediation Coordinator
-Developed and co-directed a drama club, producing two school plays each year

Chula Vista Aquatics

-Ten years of competitive swimming, competing nationally and achieving All-American status at the college level
-Instructed/coached team to a first place championship at the Southern California Junior Olympics
-Researched and recruited former lifeguards/athletes to apply for coaching positions, following a strict budget that produced a successful, profitable team
-Interviewed potential employees for the assistant coaching position, acting as supervisor
-Assisted Board of Directors in choosing new coach, following set hiring guidelines
