You're exhausting your users.
But you don't even know it.

You think you're being helpful. But you're draining them.

This happens when you:

1. Ask them too many questions

People don't want 8 questions to book a meeting. They want 2: When? How long?

2. Animations that last forever
Keep them under 300ms. Get to content fast.
→ 47% will leave if you're slower

3. Too much text
Cut the paragraphs. Use short sentences. White space everywhere.

Your users are tired. They're in a hurry.

Every extra question? Exhausting.
Every long animation? Exhausting.
Every paragraph? Exhausting.

This is why when I design, I build systems that get users to value fast. Not ones that exhaust them before they start.

Just give them what they came for.

P.S. Do you prefer simple or complicated?

I usually don't do this.

But seriously, what is love?

I have been asking and meditating on what love is.

When we celebrate Val day, we do it for romance.

But St. Valentine who we celebrate today in his memory wasn't about romance.

It was about selflessness.

In the little things that matter.

Like when you do something you said you'd do even when it's uncomfortable.


Like showing up because you said you would.

Like calling someone back because you promised you would.

But let me ask you something.

When was the last time you didn't show up?

Not in the big moments.

In the small ones.

Someone leaves you a voicemail.

You see it. You think "I'll call them back later."

Days pass. Then weeks.

Now it feels awkward. So you avoid it even more.

Someone asks you to help them move.

You say "yeah, I'll be there."

The day comes. Something feels off. You're tired. Work is crazy.

You text: "I'm so sorry, something came up."

You didn't lie when you said yes.

You just didn't follow through.

Someone's talking to you.

Telling you something important.

You're scrolling. Half-listening.

You said "I'm here for you."

But you're not actually there.

You see a fundraiser, a donation request, someone in need.

You think "I should help."

You scroll past.

You forget.

You never actually do anything.

Love isn't the flowers you buy today.

Love is showing up when you said you would.

↪Even when it's hard.
↪Even when it's inconvenient.
↪Even when no one's watching.

Because the truth is:

There are people out there who need love and have no one.

↪Children with no one to put them through school.
↪People in hospitals who can't pay their bills.
↪People in prison, jailed unjustly, with no one fighting for them.

People waiting for a call that never comes.

So today, I'm not just thinking about romance.

I'm thinking about where I fell short.
Where I said I'd be there and I wasn't.
Where I made excuses instead of showing up.

Love is sacrifice.
Love is selflessness.
Love is doing what you said you'd do.

Especially when you don't feel like it.

I just fell in love.

My heart's racing, I can't stop smiling, & everything they do feels right.

That's what happens when you meet someone great.

But then a thought creeps in.
"What if there's someone better out there?"

So you keep your options open, you don't commit.
And because you don't commit, you can't give it your 100%.

It's the same with niching down.

When you don't commit, you're distracted.
You do this. You do that.

Jack of all trades. Master of none.

Some people say "everyone is my target audience."
But everyone can't be your target audience.

Look at water.
Everybody on earth drinks water.
You can't go 5 hours without it.

But that doesn't mean everyone buys water dispensers, bottled water, or sachet.

If you sell water dispensers to people who drink from the tap, nobody's buying.

When you're scared of missing out, you don't commit.
And then you miss out on the people who actually buy.

When you niche down, you commit.
You become the BEST person for that thing.
Not just a person, but The BEST.

And when you're the best, people trust you.

That's why one of the add-ons to my research is who is the best people that can buy from you?

The people who benefit most from your product?
They're already spending money on alternatives.
They're waiting for the BEST option.

That could be you if you niche down.

P.S. Do you drink sachet water, bottled water, or use a water dispenser?

This video cracked me up. 

Most times, AI just needs a human perspective.

AI is cheaper 
But that's exactly the problem. 

Someone sent me a DM asking: "Should I hire the Figma person or the AI person?"

Then added: "The AI person is cheaper."

Cheaper doesn't mean better.
You're not hiring a tool. You're hiring thinking.

Someone who only knows AI can make it look "done." But they don't know users' JTBD.

They don't know how to create a user flow that makes the product do what the user hired it to do.

That's the difference between D7 3% retention and D7 76% retention.

It's like a person who just bought an air fryer, watched YouTube tutorials and branded themselves as expert in "crispy" chicken.

But an actual chef knows more than crispy chicken. 

The seasoning, marinating, flavor profiles.
Knows what quantities are healthy vs poisonous.

The air fryer person WILL be cheaper.

But at what cost? 

Have you ever eaten a meal you're very used to and got food poisoning?

It might just be that little difference of using the right amount of seasoning.

If the person cooking doesn't KNOW the difference, you find out the hard way.

This is exactly what's happening with Figma vs AI coding.

Someone who knows design uses whatever tool to get the job done.
Figma when they need to explore. AI when they need to ship fast.

Someone who only knows AI tools? They're the air fryer person.
They can make it look "done."

They won't understand user behavior.

Just as the air fryer doesn't teach you how to cook.
AI doesn't teach you how to design.


When you want to hire, hire someone who knows what they're doing.

And if they're good? They'll use Figma when they need to explore.
They'll use AI when they need to ship fast. They'll know WHEN to use what.

Don't hire based on the tool.
Hire based on whether they understand the problem you're trying to solve.

P.S. Have you ever bought something cheap and regretted it later?

Me: "AI will solve everything."

Founder: "Ship it fast."

Me: "Should we study the risks first?"

Founder: "Just build it."

Me: *ships AI companion app*

Users: Using AI chatbots to stalk & harras their exes

The rush to build feels productive.

Understanding people is the real work.

We keep asking "can we build this?" and forget to ask "should we?"

That's how weird stuff slips through.

Your network isn't about the number of followers or likes

It's about precision

Show up when you have something worth saying
Not just because it's Wednesday

The people who remember you aren't counting your posts
They're remembering the one time you nailed exactly what they needed

Quality compounds faster than consistency ever will

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸...

Because AI made packaging cheap.
So now everyone's packaging nothing.

People spend weeks on their offer. 

The guarantee.
The bonuses. 
The landing page copy.

Maybe 2 days figuring out if the solution actually works.

AI lowered the cost of looking credible. 
You can generate a polished offer in an afternoon.

But it didn't lower the cost of actually solving something.

That part still requires obsession.

Customer conversations.
Iteration.
Going back when it doesn't work.

The businesses that win are not the ones with the best offers.

The ones who actually solve the problem.
The offer gets attention.
The solution keeps it.

One doesn't replace the other.
Fix the lifeline of your product
