In this role I was responsible for the brand, content marketing, creative and events functions, which included leading a team of 6 talented marketers. 
- Set and enforced the overall brand visual and voice guidelines.
- Built the overarching content and social strategies and managed the editorial calendar for the Axonify blog and CEO newsletter.
- Assigned content to junior writers and freelancers, editing their submitted pieces in preparation for publishing. 
- Planned and produced content for virtual AxoniCom events, including overall creative theme concepting; booking, prepping and recording speakers; ideating, writing and working with our video partner to produce creative “commercials” to run throughout event; editing event promotion emails and more. 
- Worked with a PR agency on pitches and press releases to secure 50+ pieces of coverage per quarter. 
- Partnered with the demand team to create and repurpose content for distribution to key audiences. 
- Tracked performance of content to inform testing and optimization efforts. 
- Supported other areas of the organization on an ad hoc basis, with copywriting, editing and content creation (Sales, People and Culture, etc.)

There’s no excuse for boring B2B marketing. I never forget that my audience is made up of humans. And humans click away from snoozy, same-old content.

I have the heart of a storyteller, but 25 years of working closely with B2B and B2C brands has given me a brain for business. I do lots of things on any given day—from copywriting to content strategy to bringing brand campaigns to life. But the most important thing I do is tell compelling stories.
