I lead the Creator Programs team at Twitch, our mandate is to develop and iterate on programs that help creators in nascent categories to develop and grow. Prior to this, I led the New Verticals group at Twitch with responsibility for leading our content acquisition and business development efforts beyond video gaming. This includes partnering with studios and content producers to bring live streamed events to Twitch, often in the format of TV and movie marathons that have aired to critical acclaim from the media and most importantly, from the extraordinary community of enthusiastic gamers on Twitch. Prior to Twitch, I was VP of Business Development at Shazam, spearheading growth in Asia and LatAm - it was a privilege to work on such a magical product which is loved by millions around the world. I joined Shazam from the BBC in London, where I was responsible for distribution of all of the BBC’s interactive services, including BBC iPlayer which was deployed on over 1200 consumer platforms and devices during my tenure. I also led the distribution of the BBC’s live coverage for the London 2012 Olympic Games across all digital devices and platforms. I live in San Francisco, luckily I enjoy traveling. I also try and do as much cycling as I can and am an infrequent stand-up comedian.
