As a Business Consultant Digital Buildings, I advise customers in the real estate industry on how to deal with the complications of integrating sustainable, energy-efficient technologies into building designs. My job is to find ways in which Schneider Electric's digital building solutions, like those for HVAC control, power distribution, and renewable energy integration, may be applied to our client's projects. I advise Real Estate owners, Financial Industries, and Pension funds, on how to implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to cut expenses and make a positive impact. Working together with customers and partners, I was able to create solutions that were not just long-term viable, but also useful and affordable.

I was a real estate consultant focusing on smart buildings, digitization, and ESG before joining Schneider Electric. In order to help my clients succeed in a dynamic market, I consulted with them on sustainability initiatives, energy-saving measures, and digital transformation. I also helped clients by giving them advice on how to increase the value of their real estate holdings through property appraisal and portfolio optimization. As a result of my job, I have a thorough appreciation for the difficulties encountered in the real estate industry and the possibilities presented by sustainable and original approaches to these problems.

As Budget Manager for the Green Business Club Amsterdam Sloterdijken, I am responsible for handling the organization's funds in order to accomplish our aim of promoting sustainability in the Sloterdijken region. These are my key responsibilities:

1. Controlling the annual budget while ensuring its alignment with our aims and objectives.
2. Working with other board members to allocate funding to a variety of projects and activities, such as green energy projects, trash reduction initiatives, and community engagement programs.
3, Monitoring spending and income and giving the board with frequent financial reports to maintain openness and accountability.
4. Looking for new financing options and drafting grant bids to increase the organization's resources
5. Assessing the impact of our financial actions on the environment, our community, and our stakeholders, and making necessary modifications to ensure a good impact.

My work with the Green Business Club Amsterdam Sloterdijken has provided me with important expertise in financial management, sustainability, and community involvement.

As a Solution Consultant Smart Buildings at Equans, I was responsible for assisting real estate industry clients in navigating the obstacles of smart building design and innovation. My responsibilities included collaborating closely with clients to determine their requirements and identify possibilities to integrate smart building technology into their projects. In a fast-evolving industry, I advised clients on sustainability strategies, energy-saving measures, and digital transformation to assist them to accomplish their objectives.

Solution Consultant (slimme gebouwen) - Commercial Real Estate

My ambition for the next three to five years is to become a worthy discussion partner in the role of Solution Consultant within the Real Estate market. Able to help clients take their Real Estate to a higher level.

Translates in reducing the total amount of energy consumption, increase Real Estate value through the use of smart technology, guarantee continuity of the primary process, and finally make use of real-time (functional) data.

The main goal is to improve building performances and people's wellbeing and effectiveness.

Solution Consultan - Smart Buildings

The first Smart Building I was part of. Together with a great team, we transformed 12.000 square feet into a building with more than 2.200 sensors for lighting control, temperature measurement, carbon dioxide, and indoor navigation.

The new system transforms the (realtime) data, daily, into an Internet of Things (IoT) Cloud for future applications.

Solution Consultant (my first Smart Building - 12.000 square feet)

The main goal was to provide cost price calculations for the organization. This was the first time I came in contact with Building Management Systems (BMS), building systems in particular. 

In this role, I've met with parties as Priva, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, SAIA, Sauter, and more. In my current role as a Solution Consultant, I follow every move, so I always can provide my customer with the best solution!

The graduation research was created based on developments in sustainable employability (SE). SE has been on the social and political agenda for several years now. SE had everything to do with the aging of the working population and lower inflow of young people (hazing), which leads to the shrinking of the working population.

What makes the SE theme more crucial than ever. For PriHealth, I investigated which business model is needed to be able to offer a service in the context of SE to the market. During the investigation, I used the Business Model Canvas, together with the Value Proposition Canvas. Subsequently, the advice was about the viability of the business model.
