I am on a mission to change the narrative on mental health, in an industry known for stress, anxiety, and burnout. The event industry ecosystem is facing a critical moment, and we have a responsibility to mandate the education that will help everyone recognize problems and respond to them rather than trigger those who have no one to speak to. Psychological safety training is the only way that we can save events, meetings, hospitality and incentive travel professionals from the fear, shame and stigma that exists within the workplaces that far too many are struggling and enduring every single day. We must End Workplace Abuse. I have an action plan. I need your voices to make complex things simple. I want to amplify your messages and get you in front of our industry leaders who think that mental health is an HR problem. Emotional intelligence is not something that any of us are born with. But it is something we can learn to embrace that will support so many who are suffering in silence. It's time to pull the bandaid off and stop listening to the lip service paid to our industry to make leaders feel better about themselves instead of their employees.
