The circumstances of this position required me to navigate the COVID-19 shutdown and reopening strategy for a publicly traded furniture retailer under the Qurate Retail umbrella. In the face of an unprecedented challenge, I pivoted operational engagement to drive sales and cultivate client relationships. I utilized technology to convert client engagement from person-to-person to virtual-only interactions. Additionally, I supported reopening strategies to drive in-store increases through new program development.
* Through online client relationship management, I produced $82K in sales during the first month of COVID-19 shutdowns to be the top remote sales driver
* By increasing overall sales by $1.7M through strategic reopening planning, I led our store to become the #1 full-priced retail store in the company
* I redesigned programming to expand in-store Design Services to support sales growth during the pandemic shopping era.

In this run with Pier 1 Imports, I led a team of 34 direct reports to change the sales and operational culture of the store, guiding the team to being the number one store for dollar revenue in the company. * I developed and employed visual merchandising strategies to improve overall sales and store aesthetic, resulting in the provision of visual merchandising ideation and communication for 26 stores within the region

During this tenure, I supervised 16 team members across 3 stores with a driven focus on sales improvement. I created strategies for growth through customer-focused engagement. To create collaboration and cohesion across the area, I drove overall alignment for store sales strategies.
* Led all three stores to consistently exceed goals for a total revenue of $14M+ through multi-channel client engagement strategy development and creating a singular team alignment
* I utilized the company's online chat feature to engage customers regarding questions and concerns to bolster revenue growth
* To generate new business within local markets, I employed direct customer engagement through event-driven and social media-driven campaigns
