As an independent energy and geo-political risk consultant, I leverage my 20+ years of international experience in the energy sector to provide strategic advisory services at the intersection of energy, climate and geo-politics. I help investors and stakeholders navigate the complexities and opportunities of today's dynamic global landscape, with a focus on offshore energy and climate change, and from a Global South perspective. I have a proven track record of driving positive change in the energy industry, both in the traditional oil and gas sector and the emerging renewable energy sector. I have managed major capital projects ($500 million budget), advised the President of Guyana and the Inter-American Development Bank, and advocated for citizens' rights. I have also published and presented on various topics related to energy, and I hold a D.Phil. in Offshore Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Oxford and a B.Eng. Hons in Civil Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
