I’m an open- and warm-hearted person with a fresh Master’s degree, Scrum Master certificate, and have experience from software engineering, product management, research, analysis, and product design. This makes me an ideal product manager candidate as I can easily interface between customers and R&D. I’m also interested in learning more about corporate finance so that I could take full responsibility of a product someday. As a manager I’m compassionate and collaborative. I want to trust and empower my team as much as possible. I usually take stronger lead in the beginning of a project and whenever some conflict emerges. I primarily aim for informed decision making when possible and therefore invest time for research, analysis, discussion, thinking, and ensuring clarity and common understanding. If the project requires agile approach, then I’m willing to test assumptions quickly with a small team and spend less time for preparation. My experience as improv director and Scrum Master have enhanced my listening skills and taught me how to adapt to the needs of my group. I consider all feedback as a gift as it enables me to learn and adapt. I shine the brightest in an open minded and creative group but I can also conform to more challenging settings. I was fortunate to get a temporary PM position in product management at Nokia via job rotation and got some valuable insight about the management of a large and complex enterprise software product. In the future, I'm open to all kinds of industrial products and don't want to be limited to software alone. My education has prepared and inspired me to delivering modern technology in general.
