We started the conceptualisation of a consumer application that enables consumers to take control of their personal documentation. Today Digital U has several unique functionality including on-boarding of new customers, B2C documentation distribution without email, GDPR compliance enabler, Mobile Domicile Provisional patent, a single platform with multiple channels for the Digital Debt Collector and Digital Sheriff with in-app/channel payment and debt settlement. I have worked closely with a Credit Bureau and have a detailed understanding of aspects of AML, CDD, Permissible Purpose, Credit Risk and Customer on-boarding. I also wrote and passed the National Credit Regulator examine in 2011. All development work has been self-funded.

In 2002 I started a Managed Services Company (Solution WorX) in the document output industry. I grew the business from zero to the largest in Africa by 2012. We were recognised internationally as a leader in our field globally on two occasions. I was invited to several events where I did presentations (Amsterdam, USA and Barcelona) on how and what we do. In sold the business to Africa’s largest Systems integrator, EOH, in February 2014. In 2016, my team and I have also build a Business Intelligence tool for the industry that drives real time decision making across all aspects of the business. Eoh also bought this tool from us to manage their business in real time.

I have extensive experience in setting up a consulting business in Deloitte. As a partner I had annual sales and profit targets. I grew the business from one partner to 5 partners in four years and more than 220 full time employees and contractors. We steered the business in the direction of long-term contracts (3-5 years outsourcing contracts). We Successfully concluded several BPO contracts and by 2002 we were one of the largest businesses of its kind (BPO) in Deloitte and made up 42% of the Pretoria office revenue. In 2001 and 2002 we made the most profit per partner after partner drawings in the SA firm. Apart from the BPO business, we solved many government challenges through innovative solutions that cannot be found in any methodology or consulting guidelines.

Extensive experience in digitization and is the founder of Digital U (Du). Completed MSc in Digital Currency.
