This broad title goes beyond the lead video, animation and digital producer. My objective is to create strategic plans, then roll up my sleeves and develop content rich marketing for any and all channels throughout complex campaigns. 

This could be videos for social, long format content, digital out of home, interactive experiences or more traditional TV and radio. Sometimes this results in producing a website or content hub, animating in either 2D or 3D, an adver-game, a video production on the street or in studio, casting and co-ordinating actors or even directing.

The roll sounds broad, but is necessary to bridge all the gaps in a marketing plan, directly for brands and for other agencies.

The advantage of being at the forefront is I get to do a little of everything and to teach just as much. As a leader, if my team fails, I fail; so the only option is to thrive. I grew the company from zero to a 2.5 million revenue agency before it's amalgamation with Colour Creative Persuasions in the fall of 2015.

At Stone Canoe, aside from managing the company, I led work on websites, microsites, digital advertising campaigns, countless online videos/animations, digital out of home, experiential projects, adver-gaming, and even a few short films.

Completed 9 episodes for The Travel Guy T.V. series airiing on The Travel Channel UK. Shot in Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Malta, Italy, Dominican, Canada and the Czech Republic. Gained underwater and aerial shooting experience.

Throughout Jason’s 20 years of experience, he’s worked on TV commercials, digital advertising, interactive and experiential productions. 

In 2005, he started Stone Canoe with a good friend and business partner, Scot Bryson, and grew the company as the VP & Managing Director. Leading the company growth and direction for 10 years, until Stone Canoe joined the CHR Group in 2014 and merged with Colour Creative in 2015 strengthening both teams in social and content development.

In 2020, Jason began Pomelo Studio Inc., which focuses on storytelling, motion design and video production in an equitable and decentralized business model.
