Safeguard Medical

Develops and implements sales strategies for the Department of Defense, including planning and execution of base, unit, facility sales activities, and leads all engagements. Oversees all activities within DoD sales. 

Manages accounts, mentors, coaches, and counsels assigned sales team members as required.

Coordinates with stakeholders to determine program requirements, gaps in the program, develops future business opportunities, and promotes Safeguard's product lines and services. 

Communicates regularly with Army Futures Command, Medical Research & Development Command, Medical Capability Development Integration Directorate, and Army Forces Command units to maintain knowledge of emerging medical requirements. 

Sponsors and attends key events (Military Heath System Research Symposium, Joint Emergency Medical Exercise, Special Operations Medical Association Conference), I/ITSEC as required. 

Analyzes DoD and DHA policy trends and environmental conditions to advise organizational leadership and influence strategic sales strategy.

Served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) Surgeon and Command Group; Provided guidance on Army Health Support during Operations; Led Medical Sustainment training for FORSCOM Soldiers COMPO 1-3; oversaw 9,000 68W certification and managed medical readiness for over 750,000 Soldiers; provided analysis and recommendations to worldwide deployments in support of the combatant commands and Defense Support of Civil Authorities on medical readiness and initiatives; managed the 68 CMF across FORSCOM; ensured the health and welfare of 16 Senior Officers, 3 Civilians, plus Family members.

Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Command Surgeon

US Army

Served as the Command Sergeant Major of the 4-410th Brigade Support Battalion (Training Support), 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade (MFTB); ensured the readiness and mission accomplishment of 33 Soldiers identified as Premier Observer-Coach/Trainer (OC/T) which provided pre-mobilization assistance in partnership with more than 100 Reserve and Active Component Forces as the training integrator; provided specialized OC/Ts for Sustainment Forces from company to brigade level; served as senior enlisted OC/T, integrator, and executer for Sustainment OC/T support to partner unit assessments and training, brigade supported exercises, and Combat Training Center rotations; provided professional mentorship and leadership to all assigned personnel.

Command Sergeant Major

Served as the Command Sergeant Major of Task Force Medical 47, provided for mission command of the only Role 3 hospital and seven direct reporting Role 2 medical units, dispersed across 11 locations; provided health service support throughout Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) Combined Joint Operation Area (CJOA) in Iraq and Syria; coordinated and collaborated with Combined Joint Forces Land Component Central (CJFLCC) and Special Operations Joint Task Force (SOJTF) to synchronize medical efforts across the CJOA; supported current and assisted with planning future operations; ensured personnel and equipment readiness and supply accountability of authorized equipment, consisting of Joint and Coalition Role 2 capabilities; provided all ancillary services, supporting five Base Operations Support Integrators (BOS-I); supported building partnership capacity by providing advise and assist capabilities specific to health service support.

Served as the Command Sergeant Major of the 47th Combat Support Hospital (Role 3) with three companies/detachment and five direct reporting units; oversaw a unit attaining management, cared for, and ensured the welfare of 400 Soldiers and their Family members with an operational budget of over $1.2 million; advised the commander on issues pertaining to training, standards, discipline, personnel actions, logistical support and all enlisted matters; guided, developed and mentored Soldiers in the hospital and Direct Reporting Units; ensured leader development; oversaw customs and courtesies and the Non-Commissioned Officer Development Program; facilitated strong teams and teamwork by building cohesiveness within the unit.

MEDCoE (US Army Medical Center of Excellence)

Served as Operations Sergeant Major for the MedCoE G-3/5/7, managing over 1,500 permanent party personnel servicing over 300 Programs of Instruction with an average daily load of 5,000 students; oversaw the execution of Army Division equivalent Operations section that includes writing and publishing operations orders and MOIs; provided senior enlisted mentoring to two subordinate units as well as three major directorate’s operations staffs; provided advice to the G-3/5/7 and staff; ensured the health, welfare and mandatory training of four senior NCOs.
