I am leading the mobile teams in adopting the latest technologies available for iOS and Android. We are building design infrastructure from the ground up and making architectural improvements to the mobiles apps. 

I am personally building the foundational architecture for moving the iOS app to SwiftUI backed by Combine and Structured Concurrency, and creating several core frameworks to support the new design system and infrastructure.

I’ve designed new architecture to handle large-scale while label mobile applications and am guiding the Android team as the first adopter of this platform. The architecture is designed to rapidly scale a large number of apps while maintaining extensive levels of client customization that cannot bleed into other clients’ apps.

I worked with technical leadership across all DoorDash app teams to build a communication bridge, get all of the teams talking and moving forward together.

At Mahana, I worked with a senior developer to build the v1 of their mobile app and worked with the regulatory team to get it through FDA approval.

I hired an Android lead and worked with her and a group of consultants to build and design the architecture the v1 Android app while I worked to hire the rest of the internal iOS and Android teams. 

I was major part of the hiring process for our QA lead, director of client engineering, among other roles. 

I setup the initial Agile process and release strategy/schedule.

- Newer products used the .NET 3.5 Framework and focused on object-oriented design while adhering to the company’s agile practices.
- Day-to-day programming languages were C#, VB6, and occasionally C++ and a “home-grown” language called Genex.
- Used Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to manage daily tasks and code source control.
