If you found me, you are probably active or interested in the future of healthcare. ❓ Who am I ? I am driven by curiosity and ethics That’s how I chose to work in healthcare! First by curiosity, medicine is soooo complicated compared to engineering! You start with biology which is already full of unknown. Then you couple that with psychology which is immensely complex and varied. And BOOM that’s medicine! I love the complexity which is great to satisfy my thirst for knowledge 😍 Second following my ethics, ethics always weight heavily in my decisions. In healthcare, it’s simpler: anyway you’ll improve someone’s health! 🔧 What do I do? I worked across different companies in the medical device industry and the start-up/innovation world, touching on all sides of product development. - From pure product development : - talking to users, patients, doctors, … - prototyping & testing - planning & managing the team & the suppliers, - documenting it for QARA purposes (well if it’s a medical device 😅) - To funding the product development: drafting, defending and reporting on X M€ grants at regional, national & European level. - To questioning the product strategy - on IP : from the patenting protection assessment to FTO and patentability assessments - on regulatory strategy : starting with a consumer health device and transitioning to a medical device or do the opposite, restrict the claims to fall out of the medical device definition, … Which led me to other strategic discussions on pricing, logistics and commercial models.
