A Westpac Regional General Manager (RGM) is a critical local leadership position within the Retail & Business Bank. Operating as a 'Local CEO' the RGM is accountable for bringing to life the distribution strategy for Australia that will ensure clear leadership in financial services by 2017. A Westpac RGM believes our vision starts within our local communities, where our focus on deepening customer relationship enables Westpac to earn all of our customers business and obtain a level of trust where customers actively advocate our local teams as true financial partners.

The Westpac Premium customer segment includes a offering of one-on-one Relationship Managed Service for customers who have an annual income of at least $150k and footings of $500k or more. The product suite distributed in Westpac Retail includes transactional products, savings and investment products, consumer finance, wealth, superannuation and risk products. 

 As the Relationship Director, I lead a team of specialist Relationship Managers in building trusting relationships with Westpac's highly affluent customers. Key focus is on coaching the team of Relationship Managers on how to consult, retain and grow existing customers and attracting new to bank prime of life clients delivering a compelling customer experience. 

 The Relationship Director is accountable for providing world class, inspirational leadership and ensuring that the capability of the team meets the needs of the customer base with a sustainable focus on service excellence.
