🚨 PSA: You need clear policies & procedures + the correct hardware & software for your digital signage solution to be effective, scalable and to realize a true return on investment, objective & client experience. We recently ran across this setup inside a particular National single product dessert store where consumer TVs with Apple TV (which don't natively support portrait) and Smart TV browsers were being “utilized” for their digital signage experience.

- Invest in the right hardware and software so you have proactive alerts when your displays / content are not operating properly

- Ensure your staff is properly trained on how to trouble shoot, and/or raise a ticket to the appropriate teams, to get the displays back up and running swiftly

Not having the correct commercial solution and the necessary policies / procedures in place when your digital signage has an issue (because it will, it's technology), makes for a negative store experience for your clients and can result in a perceived thought of “lack of care.” This can trickle down to what they may think of the product you are serving them as well.

Going with the cheaper route in the beginning is NEVER the most affordable solution in the end.

A convenience store in Oklahoma called Roasters Market, just launched a new location.
