LoHi Athletic Club

I was brought on board at the outset of the pandemic for 1 main reason: help the club stay open. 

Before Covid the club had been on a steady growth path, but the initial lockdown spooked members even as restrictions eased- early days saw many cancellations. With an uncertain timeframe & changing landscape they knew they must act fast to ensure the club's survival.

The gym had a lot going for it: great location, personable staff, excellent equipment, basic brand standards, & a freshly updated website. Most importantly, they had an engaged community who valued the gym experience.  

The owners knew they needed social media & digital marketing to drive sales but no idea how to achieve that goal. 

Via a facilitated discovery session with the owners, distinct customer avatars were developed to understand the best customers they already had, & who they'd like to attract. 

We determined 3 simple success metrics - Steady organic IG growth, reduce member attrition, & sell more memberships via social media management, digital marketing, & newsletter creation.

We devised content that would attract & engage the target market. Collaborating with the web dev team, we ensured LoHi Athletic Club was visible and attractive where ideal clients spent time, provided value and social proof to engage prospects, & ensured CTA's throughout the funnel aligned with buy triggers.

Repositioned as a home-grown Equinox for LoHi, focused on safety & cleanliness while adapting to customer needs amidst changing regulations. Members who aligned with this mission retained memberships, & targeted ads brought in new members.

In short, we became a key component to the club's sales process & continued success.

Results: 
- 220+% increase in membership sales YOY
- 12% reduction in membership cancels from June-October 2020
- 214.31% ROAS All-Time. 
- Generated over $611,000 in revenue in 2020.

Edited and Produced 100+ YouTube episodes averaging ~30k views per episode Feb 2020- present.

Edited 150+ episodes of Crypto Beadles Biz TV show. Took raw footage and pre-edited Episodes ranging from 1-2 hour run time to 15 min run time, edited, produced, & reformatted to 30-minute TV episodes. BizTV is available in over 38 million homes in TV markets across America.

Produced several short animations for Design Resource Center in Chicago- a  firm that focuses on packaging design. They hired a new Design Director and wanted to produce a video introducing him to their clientele. They came up with a rough concept and let me run with it. I made an intro animation, and 8 additional screens with the interview questions set forth for the video.

- Animated DRC Sustainable logo reveal for new sustainability in packaging initiative.

I felt very fortunate to be able to work with this agency, and was so pleased they liked the final products.

Space Taco House Tuesdays | Breach Fridays

Designed weekly flyers appealing to 21-35 M&F demographic who are interested in house music, nightlife, and dancing. Flyer design needs to capture the vibe of the night, hip, sexy, colorful, friendly, and electronic music-focused.

Designed Social Media Content for Space Taco showcasing featured artists, original music from those artists, and images from the events.

Designed logo and brand standards guide for new night Breach Fridays.

UX/UI Consultant- Worked with team to redesign user interface. Performed research amongst 27,000 users for feedback on platform version updates.

Consulted for Development team to improve aesthetics based on user feedback. Provided design template created in Adobe Illustrator, resulting in over 200,000 product downloads.

Designed new in-app “Home Page” including icons. Worked with Development team to wireframe UX/UI for various sub-functions and new MonarchPAY app using Adobe XD.

Designed MonarchPAY checkout experience for Mobile. Worked with CEO to prototype and iterate on designs from wireframe to final front-end interface for handoff to the development team.

Promoted customer relationships through positive interactions, trust building, efficiency, and quick problem resolution.

Traveled to various conferences and events as brand ambassador. Hosted the Monarch Booth, interfacing with potential investors, users, and interested parties to spread product awareness, resulting in reaching $2,000,000 soft cap limit.

Conceptualized, designed, and produced advertising video used in social media marketing campaigns.

I was contracted to design a logo, business cards, for sale signs, open house signs, and an animated logo for Denver based real estate broker www.denverdreamhouse.com. The owner of the company (yes we are related) wanted help bringing his brand up to date and having a cohesive look for his entire corporate identity system. 

I worked with him to choose the color scheme, fonts, and overall logo design, then created him a Brand Standards guide he could use going forward with the company. After the success of using the business cards and signs I created for him, he also commissioned me to animate the logo for use in his real estate walkthrough​ videos showcasing properties he was showing.

Short Temporary role in Burbank campus location assisting with creating assets to be used for artists marketing current label roster artists. 

Created One-Sheet marketing material for several artists on the label. 

Created Mood Boards to set theme and feel for various artists on the label. 

Used existing creative assets and photography, selecting the most impactful images for marketing purposes. 

Included most-relevant data to ensure impact when advertising to station managers.
