In the fall of 2014, Jason led the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship team in researching 3D Printing technology. The result: MIX Lab – which houses 35 cloud connected 3D printing devices; the 9th such Innovation Center in the World. As the now Co-Director of the MIX Lab, Jason fuses design innovation skills with an entrepreneurial mindset to make things happen which is the core of MIX Lab’s mission.

In addition to a strong background in big-picture design thinking Jason is trained and certified by VentureWell in the Lean LaunchPad Educators Program, and by the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative in the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program Facilitator Training. As the Entrepreneurship Instructor and Startup Mentor, Jason has developed and teaches all three courses of the Entrepreneurship Certificate program. Jason co-directs the ongoing development of the entrepreneurial curriculum with Professor Ross Malaga to incorporate the latest teachings on entrepreneurship. Jason is a sought-out advisor on entrepreneurship matters at Montclair State. He frequently counsels Montclair State students, faculty and staff, providing guidance and advice based on his experience at startups, and connecting those aspiring entrepreneurs with experts in the local startup community.

Jason is a well-known and well-respected member of New Jersey’s startup and entrepreneurial communities. He has served as an organizer of one of the state’s top entrepreneurial Meetup groups and has been a presenter on several occasions. He was an organizer of the 2014 Google I/O Extended Conference in New Jersey, one of only 12 sites in the U.S. for the worldwide tech and entrepreneurship event. Jason uses his extensive and deep contacts in New Jersey’s startup and entrepreneurship communities to entice top-notch speakers to Feliciano Center classrooms and programs, and to attract attendees to the center’s events.

Privately held professional services firm providing video surveillance products & services to Fortune 500 and other companies.

Recruited to increase sales & profits through sales & business development leadership. Managed sales cycle, prospecting, responding to RFPs, making presentations to C-suite and VP level executives, negotiating professional services contracts, & monitoring customer satisfaction. Led three-person sales team. Reported to CEO.

•	Achieved 10% year over year sales growth 2004 - 2007 which resulted in record earnings. Increased market position 71% by targeting medical malpractice insurance companies for long-term growth.

•	Salvaged relationships with 2 key clients. Created KPIs, analytics, & reports that provided summary & detailed information on investigative results and success. Established point of differentiation over competitors, communicated ROI Davis provided & cemented client retention. 

•	Developed surveillance analytics, from firm’s aggregated performance data to measure & improve the organizations human capital efficiency & clients ROI for use as a sales tool for prospecting new business & customized segments for retained clients. 

•	Identified new business opportunity in fraudulent retention of NYC rent-controlled apartments.  Developed a video surveillance product that eliminated the chain of custody problems & produced admissible court evidence for eviction actions. Provided data driven deliverable with custom analytic overlay. Product generates 10% of annual revenue.

•	Initiated firm's use of HD video. Devised unique, proprietary method of date and time stamping videos that differentiated firm's legal evidence from competitors.

•	Designed & implemented direct mail & inbound lead generation programs: B2B direct mail campaigns produced 70% of firm’s sales growth in early years, re-focused to website in later years. Optimized site for Tri-State B2B & B2C SEO. Improvements produced double-digit sales growth.

National direct mail marketing and list brokerage agency.

Led four-person team that served catalog, e-commerce, media, publishing, retail, and sports industry clients including Rodale Press, International Masters Publishers, Newsweek, Footsmart, Eddie Bauer, Spiegel, and the U.S. Golf Association. Responsible for sales, new business development, client retention, and profitability by developing and meeting annual mailing list budgets and revenues based on database P&L.

Significant Accomplishments:

•	Achieved individual client budget goals through new prospecting, data exchanges, demographic testing, advanced rollouts, and analytic testing of direct response mailer files.

•	Successfully retained distressed clients, pitched and acquired new clients contributing to double-digit annual portfolio revenue growth. 

•	Recruited to manage eight-figure, flagship Rodale Press (Men's Health / Prevention Magazine)  account, the second-largest spend in the direct mail industry.

•	Developed analytics expertise, including the ability to compute and communicate credible ROIs, which helped the firm gain and retain relationships with Fortune 500 large clients.

•	Named 2002 Employee of the Year for contributions to the development of a list sales analytics software tool that the company still uses.
