Provided leadership and support to a team of senior software engineers that are a mix of site reliability, development and database. Primary responsibilities of the team are to provide operational support, including performance, availability and reliability for the largest part of Smartsheet's infrastructure in AWS. The team deploys new releases of the core code, develops additional automation into our deployment platform Harness. Additional responsibilities include vulnerability remediation, automating toil away, ongoing evaluation of service health, development of internal tools for engineering, support of the lower-environments and ad-hoc projects such as containerizing monolithic pieces of code.

Monitored & maintained environments (non-prod & prod) to improve performance, availability and resilience. Developed code via Terraform/Terragrunt to non-prod and prod environments in AWS instances (Centos7/AL2). Performed software releases using Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform/Terragrunt to non-prod and prod environments. Rolled out Catchpoint observability platform to engineering, created visibility of external performance (monitoring & alerting) and created documentation & training material. Facilitated team meetings and sprint ceremonies, provided evidence for quarterly and annual SOX/SOC2 compliance audits, collaborated on projects across engineering teams and team leadership. General experience with Linux/UNIX, Puppet, Foreman, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform/Terragrunt, Catchpoint, DataDog, Grafana, mPortal and PagerDuty Administration.

Site Reliability Engineer

Senior lead of an an engineering team responsible for day-to-day support and maintenance of call center services (Verint monitoring & analytics, IEX workforce). Vendor management, project & process management, trained on-site engineers as a tier 1 support and liaison/escalation point for other groups (IT, Audit, Legal, HR & Security). Provided training. mentoring and leadership for contractor and permanent engineers. 

Extensive experience with Verint's suite of applications (versions 5.x, 7.x, 11.x & 15.1) in a 30+ sites across nationwide call center locations.
