General Manager Poultry Division, Reporting Directly to the Manager Director of the Company.


Responsible for the daily running of the third largest Broiler Poultry Company in Zambia, what include in a daily basis, monitoring the health status of the Flocks physically and analyzing the data of the operation, such as Mortality, feed intake, growth rate, Feed conversions, PEF, ADG, Age, Serology Reports as well other Lab Report set by the Veterinary Responsible for our Operation. 

Setting and Managing the Operation Budget vs Actual expenditure, weekly report to MD as well Company Owners in the UK, of the Budget as well any deviation of the Protocols and Procedures. 

Provide Guidance and Monitor all the process of the Operation as well Protocols and Procedures such as Vaccination, Medication, Ventilation, Bio Security, Placing, Feed Deliveries, Chicks Deliveries, as well but not least Clean out and Cropping and Improve efficiency where is required.

Provide Training, Leadership, mentoring and Develop of the Division work force, critical part of any Operation.

Coordinated Meeting with Key Supplier and Stake Holders to improve efficiencies where is required.

Develop and Implement Trails and new Operational Procedures to be able to improve Productivity and Production.

Achievements	•	As Broiler Manager: First Farm to achieve 300 Pef.in the History of the Group.
•	First Manager to turn “Vischkuil Farm” Profitable since its
 Construction 10 years ago. 
•	As Broiler Production Manager: First time that the Broiler Division achieve above 300 Pef. In the history of the group.
•	Best production for 2013 , 336 Pef AFGRI Group. 
  
Responsibilities & Duties as Broiler Production  Manager	Managing 4 Broiler farms (723000 birds any given time). 

Advise on a daily basis on the methods to maximize broiler production at the lowest costs for the following:
•	Ventilation in the  ,Femco and Rotem Controllers and Open Houses
•	Feed management
•	Bio-security
•	Labour
•	Training of personnel on best operational practice
•	Maintenance and control of all equipment on the farm
•	Manage the Financial Budget for the operation
•	Coordinate with various department within the Group as well as AFGRI .
•	Attend meeting with various department within the Group and coordinate with the Broiler division

Production Manager

Advise on a daily basis on the methods to maximize broiler production at the lowest costs for the following:
•	Ventilation in the, “Skov”,Femco,Rottem Control system houses , as well OPEN hoses.
•	Feed management
•	Bio-security
•	Labour
•	Training of personnel on best operational practice
•	Maintenance and control of all equipment on the farm

Farm Manager

•	Managing of 13 farms (4 768 000 broilers at any given time)
•	Lead the area agricultural team towards meeting strategies, targets and specifically attaining the right bird at the lowest cost
•	Influence and advise on strategy and tactics to maximize delivery of the key strategic targets
•	Develop and manage the financial budget for the operation
Co-ordinate with various departments as well provide technical expertise to ensure flock health and production

I have been active in the poultry industry for 30 years, my range of expertise is in Broiler Farming to various other poultry related operations such as rearing, laying, hatchery and Feed Nutrition, specific to the Broiler industry, I am a " Poultry Specialist".
During my career, where have been exposed to various challenges and worked in the largest company in S.A. I have learned and develop a great knowledge of the Broiler Industry not just in South Africa, but as well in Southern Africa. 
I believe I have the potential to add exceptional value to a prospective employer as I have the tenacity to ensure peak performance in all levels of my engagement, and that is a proven Fact, in my Current position as well in Previous roles in my Professional Career.
