Senior Associate, Strategic Leader for Student Success 

Vanderbilt University Medical Center

• Directed the stewardship activities (compliance, reporting, acknowledgments and fund allocation) of a fundraising operation that raised $66 million in 2017-2018.
• Managed two direct reports responsible for gift agreements, gift acknowledgements, and donor impact reports for major ($25,000 plus) and principal ($1 million plus) level donors.
• Consulted with a cross functional team to provide operational guidance and strategic planning to steward and engage major gift donors at one of the south’s largest hospital systems.

Associate Director of Stewardship

Tennessee Higher Education Com

• Led the implementation of the state-wide electronic student transcript exchange system impacting over 58% or 175,000 public school students and over 48% of public high schools during the first year of the changeover. 
• Project manager on the $2.4 million electronic student transcript exchange contract and the primary liaison between six technology vendors, the state K-12 system, and the two state post-secondary systems.
• Developed and launched a sales plan to market the new system to over 400 public and private Tennessee high schools and over 80 post-secondary institutions. 
• Utilized effective, consultative sales presentations at various conferences and meetings for educational administrators across the state of Tennessee to drive adoption of the new system.

Higher Education Coordinator/Project Manager

State of Tennessee

• Managed the implementation of the state-wide Pathways Tennessee strategic plan for over 20 counties to drive a workforce development program aimed at creating a pipeline of talent in the Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, and IT sectors. 
• Expanded Pathways initiatives in key sectors of Tennessee through consultative presentations, timely feedback, and attentive follow up to program needs. 
• Conducted research, collected data, analyzed results, and disseminated information to establish best practices across the state. 
• Provided technical assistance and program leadership for all Pathways Tennessee partners including K-12 leadership, post-secondary administrators, and business and community leaders.  
• Developed and implemented ongoing evaluative assessments and targeted growth goals to gauge overall success of essential partnerships.  
• Consulted with business leaders and local chambers of commerce to find solutions to workforce development related needs.

Program Manager - Pathways Tennessee - A Harvard University and Jobs for the Future Initiative

Washington and Lee University

• Managed over 20 alumni volunteers responsible for raising $2.2 million of the university’s $10 million Annual Fund goal. 
• Created and managed the email marketing plan for the university’s second annual Give Day which reached over 17,000 alumni and generated 5,048 gifts totaling over $1.5 million.	
• Conceptualized, created, and implemented a comprehensive stewardship program designed to retain new, lapsed, and consecutive donors.
• Led a collaborative effort between the offices of athletics and annual giving to successfully implement a fundraising program with the goal of raising $250,000 for university athletic needs.
• Organized and executed an extensive travel schedule to meet with and solicit donors for annual support in Charlotte, NC and Washington, DC with a focus on customer service and support. 
• Utilized university databases to make informed business decisions and to track professional and university goals and initiatives.

• Led a year long planning committee to consensus on four distinct events that advanced the objectives of the Project Dialogue Program.
