As an analyst, I love turning complexity into clarity. I’m a BA at Charco Holdings, focusing on go-to-market launches and business expansion through M&A. My experience includes roles at Alpha Group, Sigma Labs, and nearly five years at AG Capital, where I specialized in fixed income sales trading and operational setups as the first employee on a new desk. At AG Capital, I enjoyed the opportunity to mentor and train graduate employees in the world of financial markets, especially in fixed income. Very little excites me more than Microsoft Excel. For me, fun is a podcast or audiobook on headphones while I create a complex spreadsheet, wrangling it into presentable beauty. While ChatGPT has revolutionised this process, there’s a part of me that misses mapping out complex code and formulas on paper. I hold certifications in Python and have completed qualifications in financial markets, financial regulations, bonds, and derivatives from the South African Institute of Financial Markets. I take pure, unfiltered joy in someone else’s success (firgun) and don’t even mind a humblebrag—sometimes you deserve it! Life (and work) is more enjoyable when you see others succeed.
