Maintain careers section of company website including creation of job ads, creating job descriptions, conducting job audits and analysis, and reviewing resumes to select candidates for interview. I also conduct new hire interviews, on-boarding, and benefits enrollment for new employees. 

Coach managers on proper disciplinary procedures and other employee relations matters. I am a subject matter expert on the company manual and help employees and managers to find answers to company policy-related questions and concerns. I also aid in creating and changing company policy based on evolving legislation and cultural changes.

Aid in compensation decisions by helping to benchmark current compensation levels utilizing various compensation surveys, job analysis data, and economic trends. Part of this responsibility involves keeping current on pay and wage laws, most recently the new overtime exemption rules.

Benefits Administrator

Handle the medical and dental benefits for the company, act as an intermediary between the employees and the executive management team, work closely with the Corporate HR Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for the 7 different divisions spread across the Western US, run payroll using JD Edwards One World and submit periodic, quarterly, and annual taxes to ADP for processing, reconcile billing from all our benefit providers, answer any questions that employees have concerning benefits including a monthly benefit conference call to go over benefits offered to new hires, term employees off of the various benefit websites when they leave the company and keep all employee files up to date, currently working with HR Manager to implement a more automated and streamlined payroll process and HR management process.
