Work collaboratively with IT staff to troubleshoot IT problems as well as create procedures for IT equipment in area.
Created and maintain scheduling database in Sharepoint for all resource reservations within the school - reduced redundancy by 80%.
Created electronic training materials for this Sharepoint database. 
Create and maintain a kanban tracking work flow and identifying problems that create false emergencies - implemented new pro-active procedures when I learned that 80% of our last-minute calls were because we failed to plan ahead.

All my stress has ended up on my face. Cystic acne. Rosacea. And scarring. The pits from the gigantic cysts that pocked my face?

They’ve been hard. I’m not gonna lie. In college, my parents paid for dermal resurfacing surgery. 

The surgeon took a medical-grade sander and planed down the surface layer of skin on my face about 1.5mm.

The recovery meant long stares from strangers. Fearful, mostly.

Between the scarring on my face and our society’s intense focus on facial  plastic surgery, I’ve been challenged in public. Self-conscious. 

The old memories are still close to the surface.

A decade ago, I took an intro photography course at my local community college. One assignment included a self-portrait.

This self-portrait I took served as an antidote to my own negative thinking.

Sure, I could have airbrushed all the scars and pits.

Instead, I leaned into them. Heightened the graininess to reflect what I hoped was a sense of grit, of determination to keep going as myself, despite pits and a rosacea-red nose. The pain of surgeries, needles injected into my cheeks, chin, and forehead over and over again.

It’s easier to be myself now. I’m pretty good at it, to be honest, scars and all.

Here’s where I tie this back to email marketing. 

Too many of us run bland, boring email campaigns. 

We fear rejection, I think. 

And so we want to please everyone.
