After 25 years in IT and 20 as an entrepreneur, I’ve shifted my focus to corporate due diligence - scrutinising companies, their performance and future outlooks. I'm building a specialist consultancy that aims to improve private equity acquisition outcomes. We do this by looking specifically at the quality of leadership and management and how well the target company is being built and run - areas that, to my experience, go unstudied in favour of more externally facing areas like commercials, financials and legal matters. In other words - what will happen when we tip a lot more money into the company - is it well rigged for growth, or will it implode because the necessary structures aren't there? Our reports contain more than just a status quo. Using our Skipa Score tool as a basis, we pinpoint weaknesses and strengths and their reasons.
