Established sales revenue record in 2020 despite zero sales for 10 weeks due to COVID.  Created a new product line (branded masks for schools and athletes) that delivered over $1MM in revenue in eight months.  Reorganized the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service department into one unit to facilitate onboarding and support of Enterprise customers.  Worked with industry partners (NBC SportsEngine; TeamSnap) and large coaching associations (Lacrosse, Hockey, Softball, etc.) for sponsorships and virtual events to generate lead flow.  Developed new website, branding, and messaging.  Reduced Google Adwords spend by 75% and generated 160% more leads.  Increased NPS from 13 to 41 in six months.  Transitioned Customer Service team from Zendesk to Salesforce.com.  Implemented new SFDC instance to assist sales team with lead flow management.  Created two podcasts, one of which is still being produced weekly for athletes and coaches.

Oversee comprehensive content team, product marketing, website, analytics, marketing operations for profitable, privately-held technology company.  Leveraging free tools via a wide variety of channels (channel, direct, ecommerce) to grow beyond Ipswitch's 42,000+ customers worldwide.

Reporting to the CEO, we worked to transform the culture by setting the overall global sales and marketing strategy and plan, defining the marketing mix and programs, and executing the programs to maximize new partner acquisition and installed base growth. This is both a strategic and tactical “hands on” role with day-to-day activities interfacing with industry analysts & media, agencies, vendors, and the extended, geo-decentralized team. As CMO, I developed, implemented, and coordinated global sales and marketing plans and strategies, including effective strategies for new and existing customer revenue growth, online marketing strategies, branding strategies, advertising and promotion campaigns, public relations, inbound marketing, and product marketing.
