Over the last decade, I've worked with hundreds of clients, from recent college graduates to multimillionaires and nonprofits. I've worked at large firms like Merrill Lynch and Ameriprise, and now I own Plentiful Wealth. Some firms treat clients like a number. I've been there, at one time I was working with 200+ clients, which is entirely too many. I wanted to build a firm which delights its clients. Clients numbers are capped, to make sure that I have the bandwidth to give clients the time and level of service that they deserve. I don't work with everyone either. I only work with clients when I believe I can provide real value. My typical clients are Millennials and tech workers who want to optimize their finances. My typical clients are financially comfortable, but they want to make sure they aren't missing anything. My typical clients want to find the optimal way to help their children save for college or buy their first home. Many of my clients have equity compensation like ISO's, NQSO's, or RSU's and want help in both managing the compensation and mitigating their taxes. My clients benefit from my experience, having worked with dozens of clients in similar positions. It's always good to have an unbiased second opinion.
