Jeff Baker's Linkedin Analytics

I began my career as an editor at The Oxford American, a literary/cultural magazine that won a National Magazine Award, and later wrote for The New York Times Magazine, Yankee, Icon, and many other publications. Managing the publication of a medical journal gave me project-management experience. I then took a job at Amazon as an editor, but quickly moved into the marketing realm there, as well as at Disney and PeopleConnect (Classmates.com). Most recently I worked at eBay, managing an automated-email channel, until my role was eliminated as part of the large layoff in January 2O24. I’m eager to hear about roles in content strategy, content management, marketing (particularly email marketing), content design/copywriting, and/or editorial. I’m interested in onsite or hybrid positions in the Seattle area and am definitely open to remote roles as well.
