I've been cultivating artisan cannabis flowers for over 15 years. I started my first cannabis company, Tree of Life, in CO in 2009. After selling the business, I continued honing my cultivation skills while going to school studying finance, economics, and real estate. I graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from WMU in just over 3 years, and went on to work as an investment and business analyst in private equity and commercial real estate settings. My years as a cultivator and analyst in the cannabis industry gave me the necessary knowledge and experience to launch my life-long dream, Kushava Craft. We produce the finest craft cannabis anywhere. We source our genetics directly from the best breeders on Earth and obsess over quality in pursuit of prefect flowers. Our philosophy revolves around delighting customers, focusing on what we are good at, continuous improvement, aligning everyone's incentives, and being disciplined allocators of capital. We've learned from the mistakes of earlier waves of operators, and believe that brands, product quality, genetics, and operational expertise will be the drivers of value in the industry, not licenses, real estate, and political speculation.
