Working with Canada Life senior leaders, I developed a tactical and strategic communications approach during the COVID-19 pandemic that ensured advisors and their operations teams were being communicated to effectively during this critical time.

Executing with a strategic approach to create efficiencies for multi-language campaigns and partnered with wholesale leadership in tracking marketing qualified leads with the goal of conversion to sales qualified leads. This delivered a clear message and reached the appropriate audience with a coordinated message.

As the Senior Advertising Design Specialist at London Life I focused on working directly with the Freedom 55 Financial security advisors. In this role I researched markets, demographics, trends, to plan the required marketing materials for the financial security advisors. Producing a quarterly report for our executive team highlighting our advisor personas to plan marketing strategies. Recommended specific design approaches depending on the marketing objective. Assisted managers and directors with focused branding, positioning, and marketing tools. Worked within short timelines to produce effective marketing materials. Tracked outcomes and feedback to adjusts marketing strategies as necessary.

Creative lead for design, art direction and management of all of our brands marketing materials. Managing all aspects of the design process, from concept art direction, market research, and production. While working at Minuteman Press as the Graphic Designer & Print Production Specialist, I was responsible for overseeing the design and production processes. I worked with clients to design and prepare projects for the print production phase. Designing artwork that was production ready, colour corrections, and maintaining brand quality standards for each job. I was able to successfully transition from managing 5 brands with Stanley Black & Decker to managing the creative content for multiple brands with Minuteman Press.

I spent two years with Stanley Black & Decker in the CPG division as the Graphic Designer and Print Shop Manager. I developed and designed promotional materials for marketing campaigns, including brochures, catalogues, program booklets and posters, and other digital and print-based communication. I actively participated in several creative brainstorming sessions and worked from the concept creation through to the project completion. By strictly adhering to the branding guidelines, I successfully provided brand consistency for internal and external communications. As the Print Shop Manager, I was responsible for the design and maintenance of the online portal for printed sales materials, store POP collateral & merchandise racks, and other marketing, merchandising and print design sales support materials. I was continually preparing and delivering final files to printers for production.

Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, I was employed at The Art of Productions as their Graphic Designer. I produced web content for The Art of Productions social media channels and redesigned their email newsletters. I coded the web content with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Using their content management system, I was responsible for uploading the online marketing content and ensuring that the content was targeted to each specific mailing list.
