We are a collection of makers, doers, explorers, innovators and pioneers of brave ideas. Ideas that make a positive difference in the world and drive business success for our clients. We believe brands have to transcend what they make or do, and stand for something bigger to be successful in todays marketplace.

Led the Creative Content Group at GMMB (the world’s foremost Cause Marketing Firm and lead agency on Obama for America). Pushed creative strategy and execution with multiple teams on integrated campaign, marketing and social work across numerous channels to help better lives, communities and our future with some of the most recognized brands, causes and organizations in the world. 

Primary Responsibilities include:

+ Guide, push, motivate, mentor, drive and influence a strong creative culture across agency 
+ Concept, develop and manage a “best in class” creative product. Always. 
+ Manage all aspects of content strategy and creation 
+ Work closely and collaborate with Account, Strategic Planning, Media,Technology and 
 Business Development to shape smart, new opportunities for the agency

MIGHTYkarma

Founding Partner / Creative Director of MIGHTYkarma, an 8 person creative shop / social experiment devoted to redefining how communications can empower both brands and humanity. 

Our marketing approach was based on a "shared value"​ philosophy to help drive a deeper connection and understanding between consumers, brands and community. The idea revolved around aligning business success with positive social change. We wanted to expand on the traditional business model of "people, product and profit"​ by creating a more sustainable approach that involved adding "purpose and planet"​ into the equation. "People, product, profit, purpose and planet" became our CSR pitch. It was a revolutionary approach, unfortunately it was also slightly premature for the business landscape in 2007. However, it did later help me land an executive position at the world’s foremost cause marketing firm in Washington, DC. 
 
Clients included: EAS Sports Nutrition, Timberland (Mion Footwear), JetBoil Camp Stoves, Jackson Hole Resort, Flying Dog Brewery, Earth Shoes, Playback Eco Clothing, Revolution Cleaners, Gardein Meatless Foods, Fullbar, Southern Thread Brand Clothing, BikeDenver, WasteFarmers and GreenSmart Eco Bags.

Led the creative vision, strategy and final product for the Denver outpost of a Toronto-based creative shop.

Molson Canadian Beer, Canon, Mensgroom Skin Care Products, Dish Jeans, EAS Sports Nutrition, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, Vodka 14 and Southern Thread Clothing.

What I did:
Motivated, managed and led the creative department for the largest, independent creative shop in the Rockies with 200+ employees.

- Creative lead on all new business, including wins on Quest, Budget, Einstein Bros. Bagels, EarthRoamer, Southern Thread, Cinch and Cruel Girl jeans. Increased  agency revenue 30% over a two year period.

- Created an agency leadership speaker series to inspire, educate and motivate employees. Some notable speakers included:

John Chatterton: Host of the History Channel’s Deep Sea Detectives television series, and best-selling co-author of "Shadow Divers" about the discovery and subsequent identification of the German submarine U-869, off the coast of New Jersey.

Charlie Burrell: An internationally acclaimed contrabass player and one of the first African-American musicians to break the color barrier in a major U.S. symphony. He was also the bass player for Billie Holiday when he was 15 years old...

Dominic Arou: One of the estimated 20,000 Sudanese children forced to flee their homeland due to civil war in search of safety in what turned out to be a treacherous 1,000-mile journey to Ethiopia. 

- Created the "Do Good Grant": An agency internal social experiment to bond cause and culture within the agency. Every year, employees would write an essay about a worthy cause in the world and their creative ideas to help improve it. The winner was given a month paid vacation along with $10k to make it happen. Afterwards they became the last speaker in the Leadership Speaker Series. 

Client brands included:
Einstein Bagels, Budget, Red Robin Burgers, Qwest, Breckenridge, Vespa, Xcel Energy, OxiClean, Johns Manville, Denver Zoo, Cinch Western Wear, Southern Thread and Cruel Girl Jeans.

Currently leading the creative work at Karsh/Hagan, a Colorado-made, marketing, design and technology company with a purpose and a vision that unlike many, extends past next Thursday.
