I want to contribute to making AI decisions explainable and transparent. With my specialization in MLOPS (Machine Learning Operations) I teach about how companies can integrate AI more effectively, seamlessly and futureproof into production environments. I thoroughly enjoy to pass on knowledge and experience and I am always interested in discussing current topics like technology, environmental issues and societal development. Thats why I at OC I founded the community for "conscious IT" ("Bewusste IT" in short "BIT") where we raise awareness for our responsibilities as people in IT and use our expertise to help with environmental and societal issues. In this industry we have the unique possibility to contribute to gaining knowledge in sustainibility as well as identifying potential to save ressources and making processes more efficient. As a person in IT it for long hasn't been enough anymore to tackle these with just technical understanding. Todays systems connect millions, sometimes billions of people which gives providers of said systems an immense influence on society and culture which comes with a respective responsibility that has to be understood. Another area of interest for me are blockchain and smart contracts which showed that decentralisation and paradigm shifts can come just from few well thought out systems.
