Senior Consultant for Retail client

Re-engineered the business processes to enable introduction of automation for the HR (Human Resources) processes for the Canadian market. This enabled streamlined work flows, increased the accuracy of the processes and enabled the HR team to cater to the needs of the 95,000 store team members in a more efficient manner. Led the team that worked with the business customers, product owners and development teams to groom, document and prioritize the backlog for the different processes involved. Delivered the requirements for the Compensation module, in store interviews and candidate orientation.

Save client over $100K in annual compliance costs;

Successfully coordinated with different vendors and internal teams to implement and integrate value adding solutions for my client in the compliance (Asset Protection) space. I worked with different stakeholders in the team to plan, execute and deliver projects which have improved efficiency and saved the customer about $100K a year in costs. 

Projects delivered under my oversight include:
a. Integration of data analytics system with camera feeds at store.
b. Integration of data analytics system with Case management system.
c. Integration of the Case management system with restitution program systems.

Cut annual transportation costs by over 25% with a high visibility project for retail client;

As part of a unique Managed Services partnership with the client, my team supported the business customers with their Transportation Transformation program. We helped the client optimize the domestic transportation leg by reducing dead miles and cut down inefficiencies by merging different Supply chains. This was done at the same time JDA’s transportation management suite of applications was being upgraded for the client. I was responsible for successful management and delivery on this complex, high visibility program dealing with miles optimization with backhaul, a rate update and JDA upgrade from the business analysis’ point of view.

Led the business analysis and worked with the team offshore to deliver:
a. Tracking system to enhance efficiency and product recall of recalled items;
b. Enhance knowledge of the Support teams involved with Replenishment and Finance areas;

Successfully led the requirements management for multiple projects for this retail client. Listed below are the key projects which I delivered the requirements for:
1. Handle product recalls based on Government/ Supplier/ Retailer assessment of items;
2. Move Items across Departments for Infant Products for Merchants;

My work with this client was primarily on a program to build an in-house next gen pharmacy solution to support the growing needs of the pharmacy arm of the retailer. I worked with Subject Matter experts (Business Process Consultants/ Business User Consultants), other business analysts, the testing and the technical design teams for eliciting the requirements for the system. Listed below are key projects I delivered requirements for:
1. Ensure compliance with laws that varied by state;
2. Ensure accurate Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) reporting for each state;
3. Enable state-of-the-art analytics;
4. Handle adjudication responses from Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM's);
5. Create and maintain data for Prescriptions, Patients and Prescribers;
6. Generate prescription based product history reports
