Part of the underwriting committee approving all residential portfolio loans.   Resigned when the bank was sold to a larger institution.

Part of the Executive Leadership team assisting the bank in achieving outstanding financial performance levels.  Hired in 2010 to open a De Novo branch in Eden Prairie which grew to become one of the most profitable branches in the organization within 4 years. Specialized in construction lending, working with commercial and residential loans.  Vetted and approved all builders for the bank.  Reviewed and approved all residential and commercial appraisals for the bank.  Actively particpated as a member of the compliance committee.  Reported to the CEO and provided monthly financial updates to the Board.

TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union

Managed and directed consumer and mortgage lending divison for the company.  Oversaw lending call center and collections departments.  Member of senior team providing leadership and direction to entire organization.  Reported monthy to the Board of Directors.  Sold retail originated loans directly to Freddie Mac and managed all aspects of the lending portfolio.  Member of ALCO and compliance committees.

CITIZENS STATE BANK

Executive manager providing strategic direction to the bank and mortgage company.  Fostered and promoted a sales culture through engaged leadership and example.  Led a dynamic, profitable division that leveraged diverse mortgage product offerings and execution streams.  Oganized, restructured and improved a new web based LOS platform that increased efficiencies, strengthened controls, improved customer service, reduced origination costs and expanded profit margin 55%.  Increased retail mortgage production by 170%.  Directed a TPO network of 56 local banks and brokers.

President CSB Mortgage / EVP Citizens State Bank

TCF Bank

Senior manager hired to provide organizational improvement to the correspondent mortgage lending division. Restructured internal operations, eliminated deficiencies and vastly improved corporate culture in division.  Funded $2 billion in secondary market volume during tenure.  Revamped compliance and regulatory procedures bringing division from worst performing to best in 8 months.  Member of TCFMC Board Committee.  Actively managed and directed relationships with 64 correspondent lending institutions.  TCF decided to exit the mortgage channel in 2004 thus eliminating this profitable division.

Managed the leading retail sales branch for the company and was a top 10 loan officer in retail production. Developed mortgage products for retail and wholesale loan officers.  Worked in conjunction with secondary marketing to review best execution for loan sales.

Main responsibility was to create a seamless transition on construction to permanent financing and new construction purchase transactions. Called on larger Twin City homebuilders to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
