Being responsible for Community at Jamf means I oversee the organization's overall community engagement and advocacy strategy for both Jamf Nation (the world’s largest online community of Apple-focused IT admins) and Jamf Heroes, the company's customer advocacy program. 

I focus on the core of Jamf’s success, our customers, through creative and personable approaches. I shares interests (travel), fears (crocodiles) and weaknesses (baked goods) with customers in a variety of ways to forge genuine connections and trusted relationships. 

My team pays attention to what customers want and need from Jamf in order to be successful. We use a human-centered approach to understand our our community members in an effort to give them the best possible experience with our products, organization and each other.

Manager, Community Engagement and Advocacy

In the fall of 2017, I was asked to build and subsequently manage Jamf’s first customer advocacy program. I transitioned to the role in January of 2018 and launched the program, Jamf Heroes, in July. My strong focus and strategic tactics are the foundation that support the program’s success. 

• In the first year, Jamf Heroes gained 1,000+ advocates. 
• The program's engagement rate has never fallen below 50%. 
• In the first 18 months, the program generated 577 online reviews across popular review sites. 
• In 2019, Jamf Heroes was a finalist for Influitive’s Best Advocacy Marketing Program of the Year. 
• Because of the program's success, I was asked to sit on Influitive’s first Voice of the Customer Council (VOCC).

In addition to Jamf Heroes, I’m also responsible for the company’s case studies. This includes evaluating customers' participation, conducting interviews, writing copy, working with graphic designers on the layout, training colleagues on interview best practices and ensuring these high-quality stories support Jamf’s product portfolio and supported business verticals. I’ve written 24 case studies, and I've assisted local and international colleagues with the case study process. 

In 2016, I helped launch Jamf’s Inclusion & Diversity initiative and currently sit on the I&D Steering Committee. To additionally support this work, I teach an Understanding & Mitigating Bias session for all new hires each month.

• Conceptualize marketing strategies and execute tactics for new business unit programs
• Collaborate with Creative Services to create marketing materials, including: brochures, fliers, direct mail pieces
• Write and edit a variety of print and web-based physician, leadership and employee communications, including five newsletters each month
• Bariatric Service Line Marketing Lead – Oversee the marketing and communication needs for the bariatric centers across Allina Health to ensure cohesive branding, messaging and voice

• Wrote and edited all sales collateral, which included customer newsletters, case studies, site profiles, product brochures and content for customer communications
• Managed collateral projects, including the creation of application sheets and product brochures, including third parties
• Produced a bimonthly newsletter that served as the company’s center of communication, connecting employees in five global corporate offices
• Oversaw the document review process and publication of all marketing materials
• Helped lead the kickoff of What We Do Matters, an internal campaign that connects the employees with the patients they indirectly serve though the software they produce
• Created patient profiles that served as the visual backdrop for more than 5,400 product demonstrations at a major industry trade show

Copywriter

• Established a bimonthly newsletter that focused on cross-departmental communication
• Utilized FrameMaker to create, edit and publish a variety of customer facing documents
• Led participation efforts for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, raising $12,000 from a corporate office of 175 people, including $3,000 from a silent auction
• Managed a variety of internal employee events and led the fundraising efforts for the corporate giving campaign
• Maintained new hire information on Human Resources' intranet site and scheduled all orientations

▪    Worked closely with managing editor to review all news content for relevance, timeliness and clarity as it pertained to residents of the Bronx and the Community Newspaper Group
▪    Wrote, edited and produced 288 news articles on topics including: politics, crime, religion, social economics, personal profiles, obituaries, art, culture and philanthropy			      
 ▪    Provided weekly edits and feedback to reporting staff, which included educational sessions that outlined writing tips and interviewing techniques
▪    Developed and strengthened crucial relationships with NYPD precincts 49 and 45, which included an evening ride-along for an inside look at the gangs of the Bronx	
▪    Created and oversaw internship program that introduced area college students to the newspaper industry, allowing them hands-on experience within the field	
▪    Utilized photography abilities on a regular basis to strengthen news pieces by providing visual strength and credibility

New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG)

▪    Recruited college students to engage in advocacy projects regarding: Metro Transit; Hunger and Homelessness; Environmental Concerns; Consumer Protection; Voter Mobilization; Government Reform and Higher Education
▪    Organized a campus internship program that provided educational sessions on topics including: Community Advocacy, Project Planning, Personal Development and Goal Planning
▪    Facilitated press conferences and media releases that generated extensive coverage within local media, including a segment on New York's Eyewitness News, ABC 7
▪    Developed a baby shower for homeless, pregnant teenagers, and collected 2,000 baby items

▪    Developed strong relationships with vital members of the West Salem community
▪    Participated in two ride-alongs with the sheriff's department for inside looks at the role of law enforcement within the county
▪    Assumed the role of photographer for all of my news articles, capturing strong images to enhance the content's message and visual appeal
▪    Formatted photographs with Adobe Photoshop in order to create image clarity
▪    Assisted news editor with editing responsibilities, as well as creating a weekly layout design
