Jennifer G. Gallegos is a Stanford-trained environmental engineer and a strategic sales and marketing executive in the climate tech industry. As Senior Director of Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Revenue and Business Innovation, Jennifer is responsible for expanding sonnen, Inc.’s footprint in smart, connected ESS solutions to cover a larger range of project scope and grid-supporting business models throughout the western hemisphere. Previously, she worked at Yotta Energy, a startup based in Austin, Texas, reimagining the way the world stores and uses solar energy. Gallegos is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. She has also written about a variety of topics including emerging technologies, eLearning, and design. Prior to joining the climate tech industry, she held roles in project management, building design, sales, and marketing. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Spanish from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
