Sexual Violence Center

The Sexual Violence Center is a non-profit dedicated to ending all forms of sexual violence.  As their Systems Change Program Manager, I lead the Hennepin County SMARTeam (Sexual Assault Multi-disciplinary Action Response) to develop victim-centered protocol in the criminal justice system when addressing sexual violence.  The team included SART Nurses, the County Attorney's Office, Minneapolis Police Dept, HC Sheriff's Office, Community Orgs/non-profits, Advocates, and various other county and community advocates.  I also developed victim-centered, trauma informed training on sexual assault for the Minneapolis Police Department and trained 839 officers.
