ADHD makes doing even simple tasks difficult. It can leave you feeling frantic and overwhelmed. I've been there, trapped in the chaos of my own making. I knew I was missing something, but I had no idea what was going on. It didn't matter how hard I tried, my life was still a mess. Finding out about my ADHD at 46, I finally had an answer. Once I understood how my brain was wired, everything became clear. I could start to play to my strengths, instead of staying stuck in my struggles. Everything I've lived and learned as a late diagnosed woman is now a part of my work. I've studied how to make changes, mindset, will power, and ADHD. I did the really hard part, applying what I learned to my behaviors. It became obvious that "Try Harder" didn't help me get things done. I developed a system that does work, making it possible for me to make big changes. I quit a heavy duty soda pop addiction, over 2 liters of Coca-cola every day for over 25 years. Not a drop of pop since January 2014. I was able to exercise at least an hour everyday in order to participate in endurance events. Started and completed sprint length triathlons in 2016 and 2017. I wrote a book within 6 months by sticking to a writing practice every week day. My eBook 'The Monarch & The Manager' was published in October 2022.
