- Led competitive intelligence, created quarterly secret shopper reports & battlecards for 3 - 7 competitors, socializing insights, and increasing competitor win-rate from ~25% to ~40%.

- Designed and launched the GTM strategy for a suite of free tools for HR leaders. Resulted in 7 new tools, became the 2nd most popular page for new visitors, influenced an average 4.4k leads/month, and was the number one pipeline driver (Cost Calculator).

Polly

- Led the GTM launch of Polly’s app for Zoom as part of Zoom Apps’ initial cohort, created positioning/
messaging, marketing material, sales enablement, and adoption strategy.

- Produced and presented the product roadmap in partnership with Product to guide initiatives for
2021/22 during annual planning.

- Initiated and executed analysis to identify key self-serve segments using in-product and market data. Validated these findings with customer interviews & VOC insights. 

- Guided Polly’s brand strategy including event sponsorship (Slack Frontiers) and PR, achieving 10+
top tier mentions and orchestrated a media roundtable of 5+ partners, including Zoom.

Unbounce

- Worked cross-functionally to lead and execute on marketing campaigns & social initiatives, including product/feature launches, thought leadership, social impact campaigns, and lead-gen campaigns.

- Created and executed an annual community strategy, which led to an engagement rate 36% increase across all channels from 2019 - 2020.

- Led the launch of our largest lead-generation campaign (Conversion Benchmark Report), overseeing a Product Hunt launch, organic distribution, sales/CS enablement, and $300K in PPC/sponsor budgets.

- Headed up social and community, including all social channels and B2B review sites.

- Organized a company-wide workshop on our social strategy and internal advocacy, leading to an award-winning campaign for our rebrand—#ChooseExtra.

• Led the marketing strategy for 10+ clients across a wide variety of industries to  help them craft marketing personas, messaging, positioning, and content from scratch together with the founding teams. Industries ranged from B2C ecommerce to enterprise SaaS

- Managed a team of 3, as well as a number of remote contract writers, to complete all client deliverables on time and exceed expectations. 

- Acted as the project and account manager for over 10 clients, utilizing planning tools such as Asana, Harvest, Forecast, and Trello to ensure both client deliverables and internal KPIs were met.

- Spear-headed client operations by creating internal and external documents outlining our processes to onboard new clients, onboard hew hires, and execute each service package we offered (voice & tone guides, blog posts, link-building, social media calendar, social media engagement, metrics, events, and more ). 

- Led Redstamp and Chime's event sponsorship strategy with the help of our in-office team including engagements at BCTECH Summit, Traction Conference, and SAAS NORTH.

Marketing Manager

CodeCore Developer Bootcamp

- Managed all student and hiring partner communities both online and in-person, resulting in 100%+ increase in engagement at events and online.

- Acted as a career counsellor and help match all alumni with positions, coaching alumni through the hiring process, and maintaining CodeCore's 95%+ hiring rate.

- Re-established the CodeCore brand on social media and within the community by continuously creating engaging written and visual content, resulting in a 66% increase in shares and a 70% increase in organic reach on Facebook, along with a 67% increase in Twitter impressions.

- Led the development of new community and hiring partnerships, resulting in 30+ new partners including: SAP, BCIC, Women Who Code, and AxiomZen.

- Directed email strategy including: a redesign of the newsletter, implemented personalized mail merges, and new course campaigns, resulting in an 18.5% increase in cleaned subscribers.

- Drove event strategy and engagement, increased average Demo Day attendance by 33% up to 101 and increased the ratio of hiring partners attending.

Spring Activator

- Acted as head of community,  directly engaging over 300 individuals per week using a mix of online social channels and hosted events to build Spring’s network and brand both locally and abroad

- Managed the sales and operations of Spring's coworking space, beating target sales by 11% and ensuring a consistent, welcoming culture for all coworkers in the Spring family

- Led the charge on PR leading to pieces in global publications like The Next Web, The Globe and Mail, BetaKit, and TechVibes, providing over 14 million potential new viewers for Spring

- Was the primary overseer Spring's rebrand, managing all aspects of marketing collateral including the website, marketing copy, physical merchandise, and liaising with designers

- Created and managed all of Spring's digital communications including the weekly newsletter and partner communications, leading to a 89% increase in newsletter subscribers from 386 to 3386 total

- Managed Spring’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), growing all Spring University social channels from the ground up and amassing over 5600 likes on Facebook in less than 3 months

- Created and planned all social media content, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tumblr; resulting in 32.12% increase in Twitter followers and a 65.23% increase in Facebook page likes.

- Sent out a weekly newsletter informing subscribers of new promotions, restaurants, and “food news”, accumulating 344 subscribers, an average 42% open rate, and a 7.64% click rate.
