I am an enthusiastic Professional Speaker and Teacher of mindfulness and meditation. As a certified CPA with a resume of Blue Chip employers such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Sony Music and The Walt Disney Company, I had everything together.......on paper. One skill I never learned was optimizing and understanding my relationship with my thinking and how it could work for or against me both personally and professionally. After having children, I pivoted to a career in wellness; training in and teaching yoga and mindfulness for the past 12 years as a 500 hr Certified Teacher. I facilitate workshops rooted in sharing mindfulness tools and ideas which can be applied both to disrupt thinking as usual and to improve communication and teamwork. (Bonus: it also works to improve our relationships with our family!) I'm passionate about demystifying mindfulness and sharing in a way that is practical and relatable- yet can unlock transformational thinking and be a catalyst for positive change. Additionally, in today's uncertain and uniquely challenging environment, mindfulness and meditation practices are now considered an important aspect of day to day wellbeing. My podcast 'Ask a Better Question' shares conversations with experts in their fields about how mindfulness applies in the business world and beyond. Jennifer's wide range of experience includes working for global companies both in the US and UK. She has also served as a lululemon ambassador, volunteers and presents for social justice organization Buffalo Prep, is a Trustee and Treasurer at independent girls high school Buffalo Seminary and created a yoga/ mindfulness program for Buffalo Public School teachers; receiving their 2016 Staff Health Promotion Partner award.
