As a Program Manager, I grew and developed a Governing Body leadership group of Fortune 1000 CIOs and CISOs to facilitate the development of regional executive summits and "inner circle" programs. Agendas developed through the guidance and direction of a Governing Body of CIO and CISO executives in St Louis. I provided oversight on the development of highly customized content, managed vendor-partner relationships, executed objectives under a strict timeline, responsible for achieving event revenue goals (sponsorship sales), and worked collaboratively to ensure the highest degree of quality provided to the communities that served. I was personally requested by a VP of Business Development to apply for a newly-created training position based on sales acumen and networking expertise. After getting on board, I found that I absolutely loved being challenged by all the smart people here. 

The constant change of this kind of start-up environment meant that structure wasn’t necessarily there, and I found that I thrived best by helping create that foundational environment to others. As a result, I transformed a previous roughly-formulated training program into vibrant and robust staff professional development curriculum by working in tandem with internal subject matter experts. Additionally, I acted as business development resource providing mission-critical role-playing and interactive training sessions to sales staff on overcoming customer objections, networking techniques, developing referral pipelines, closing processes, and value-added / suggested selling.

* Captured $75,000 in training cost savings in by renegotiating venue contract to achieve better pricing terms which enabled expenses to stay on-budget.
* Partnered with Lyft ride-sharing service to attain $2,000 savings in attendee training transport costs after evaluating rental car program to discover it was not compliant with company’s risk management policies.
* Positioned company to begin post-training testing to assess comprehension levels of materials presented.
