• Prospected and managed over 20 key client accounts such as HSBC and Standard Chartered, across multiple markets
• Launched and tracked clients’ cost-per-lead marketing campaigns to ensure leads are being delivered in order to increase client retention

• Led cross-functional teams through the launch of a new SME directory product leading to the acquisition of 70 SMEs to join the directory in the 1st year, earning revenues over $200,000

Step Conference is the leading tech festival for emerging markets. With 4 main tracks, more than 400 global startups showcasing, hundreds of global investors, and 8000+ global attendees over two days. 

• Responsible for sales and account management of over 150 sponsors, corporate delegates, and startups across the Middle East
• Scouted over 100 startups through outreach activities such as cold calls and emails, and by partnering with incubators and accelerators
• Created and pitched sponsorship proposals and account managed the execution of the respective sponsorship deliverables pre, during, and post-conference for brands such as Pepsi, IBM, and Cadillac
• Contributed to sponsorship and exhibitor revenues of $400,000
• Secured over 400 corporate ticket sales from leading organizations across the region amounting to over $80,000

I have 8+ years of experience in Partnerships and Business Development across the travel, fintech, banking, and SaaS industries. I have led collaborations with leading banks, payment gateways, tourism boards, hotel chains, retail brands, media agencies, and loyalty programs.

My key expertise includes cross-cultural communication, lead generation, negotiation, sales and outreach automation, scaling key accounts on tactical and strategic levels, building relationships, adaptive thinking, and tenacity.

I lived abroad in Istanbul and Dubai and is now living in Austin, Texas. I am passionate about food, travel, and boutique hotels. I am interested in tech and startups. I also enjoy listening to podcasts and audiobooks and binging on Disney movies. If you love these as much as I do, let’s connect.

I've always hesitated to write because I never considered myself the best writer, but I genuinely enjoyed writing this piece. If you're in partnerships or considering starting your partnerships career, I'm sharing my advice on how to grow in this space.
