As the founder of Roger That Agency, my primary drive is helping clients articulate their vision, overcome obstacles, cut through the clutter, and arrive at brands and websites that both deliver and delight. With a career that spans two centuries, four continents, and multiple industries, I bring an unusual depth and breadth of experience to my work. Working in Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies taught me big-business best practices and the importance of making data-driven decisions. Serving in the nonprofit world, first as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mongolia, and later in senior roles for various nonprofits, I learned to lead with heart and align values and mission in all I do. The creative process is inherently messy. I have a knack for smoothing out the rough edges, simplifying processes and seeing possibility. When I speak with clients, I quickly grasp where they're stuck and where they want to go. It’s my personal mission to create steady ground so they can grow their brands and businesses. I know I’m doing it right when people feel fully supported and have what they need to be successful—and that goes for both my clients and my team. Those who have worked with me know that I'm both fun to be around and wholeheartedly committed to their success. When I'm enthusiastic, it shows! They also know that I have a low tolerance for BS. Life is too short to waste time with people not mutually committed to a rich exchange. Giving back is part of my DNA. I am proud to have provided $120,000 in pro bono support to Roger That's nonprofit partners over the past five years. I’m delighted to serve as an advisory board member for Oregon MESA, a STEM-focused nonprofit serving underrepresented youth, and am proud of my tenure as a former board member for the Friends of the Oregon Commission for Women, as well. When I'm not working, I get my thrills swimming in freezing rivers and lakes or backpacking to explore new wilderness. Sadly, my favorite stomping grounds burned in recent wildfires, so I would love to hear your recommendations for where to venture next.
