Joined the nonprofit organization as it was launching in 2017 with a grant from the E.E. Ford Foundation. Provided team with strategic direction and support on reaching, engaging, and growing audiences. Helped grow the network through targeted communications and content marketing, which include: producing a member and public newsletter; regular email campaigns; storytelling through an editorial strategy that spanned thematic content and social media distribution; strategic media relations; data/results monitoring to develop and refine strategy; events marketing; and Web site planning and management. Cross promotion with partner organizations Aurora Institute, Challenge Success, CompetencyWorks, Getting Smart, Making Caring Common, and more. Leveraged Board and Adviser voices and networks. Joined Tang Institute as it was launching as a new center for developing innovative teaching and learning methods at Phillips Academy. Helped create foundational messaging through a messaging matrix and evolved messaging accordingly. Provided strategic direction on rolling out news and information to the local and global communities. Served as primary Web manager, writing and planning new editorial content and making updates large and small. Participated in Web migrations and significant content overhauls. Regularly spread word about exciting and innovative approaches to learning on social media and in email campaigns.

Worked with Major Gifts and Annual Giving on a range of development communications materials and multimedia, including appeal letters, talking points and messaging development, launching the new alumni relations newsletter, writing and distributing regular communications from the dean to the Board, Website content, ghostwriting, advertisements, and campaign materials. Wrote and helped produce a fundraising video for the school which told the story of select alumni, including Tom Chappell, founder of Tom's of Maine.
