Well Hello there! I’m Jenny - and I get 𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 nerve stimulation on a ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ𝑦 leg because my doctor believes he can trick my brain back into sending correct signals to my leg with chronic nerve damage & pain. 😵 FUN! 😆 Thanks to my leg I’m a chronic pain patient. I am also late diagnosed with ADHD and Autism (got a 2 for 1 deal 💸) as well as a woman who has spent most her professional life in the IT Industry. And why am I sharing all this? Because this is me. ➡ I’m the odd-one that is completely fine being an outsider - I’ve been one my whole life and I’ve learned to embrace it. And also; I don’t like being in a 📦 - I am not a cat! 😸 ➡ I’m the one that took not just a Bachelor but also a Master degree in Computer Science even though “𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑐𝑎𝑛’𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑑𝑒”, that I “𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑎 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑠𝑡” and the “𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑡” 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 “𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑛𝑜 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑎𝑡 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 - 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠”. ➡ I’ve participated in research projects 🤓 with special focus on inclusion and the intersection between neuro- & gender diversity as well as Computer Science, and I’ve taught University students about Critical Design, Inclusive Design, Neurodiversity, and how to use it to change narratives with artefacts and a positive storytelling. ➡ I’ve been a Program- & Project Manager for years in various IT fields which makes me highly aware of the importance of great communication based on actual facts 📣 - and the balancing act of tailoring communication to the intended audience. Oh - I almost forgot ➡ ️I’m also the one that is a Stand-Up Comedian. 🎤 Because if there’s anything I’ve learned throughout life then it's the importance of being able to laugh.
